If it helps, my brother had the same problems, and the meds helped focus him. He said as tired as he felt after school, while he was there, he could concentrate, and it helped.

{{HUGS}}}Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05650415000626546009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19801124.post-42321210002070483332007-10-12T23:57:00.000-04:002007-10-12T23:57:00.000-04:00I can't stand those people either. I think that's ...I can't stand those people either. I think that's how the 'walk a mile in my shoes' thing came to be.

You have to find what's best for Zachary and that's no easy task. With my oldest it really wasn't long (looking back now) to find a med that worked. With my 15 year old, however, it's pure and absolute hell. I'm not sure it really gets easier as you go along because you will always second guess yourself with what ifs, but at some point you'll realize that you have a better 'grip' on things than you thought. Keep doing what you feel is best and if something comes up that's better, don't rule it out either.

We get our thanks in seeing our kids continue to forge ahead. They get that from us. Keep doing what you're doing. Educate yourself, question yourself and make every thing count.

{{{{Lisa}}}}}Rannihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11046114473667464704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19801124.post-55828253004778438612007-10-11T23:17:00.000-04:002007-10-11T23:17:00.000-04:00Oh Lisa! I WISH I knew what to say. I don't know, ...Oh Lisa! I WISH I knew what to say. I don't know, so here is my love and hugs (((XXX))) for what it's worth. Stay strong - you are doing all you can for Zachary and you're an awesome mom. Just realise that. Other women would have flipped out and given up completely, but you were given that boy for a reason. Because you are the perfect mom for him. You're doing SO well. Of course you feel anxious and wonder if you're making the right choices - that's normal. But trust your instincts and be strong. You're doing a wonderful job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
